Scouts Grade: 73
Considering: 1-Virginia , 2-Florida , 3-Georgia , 4-Duke , 5-Vanderbilt

Evaluation: Crowder is a high motor type player at the center position. He has a quick clean snap and quickly gets into defenders. He brings a good initial pop and gets good placement with his hands. When he fires out low he displays the leg drive and the ability to get movement off the line of scrimmage. He does a good job of stepping down and sealing. He quickly gets up to the second level and displays the ability to get a piece of moving targets. He can be a little out of control at times and will get himself overextended. He moves around well and displays the ability to pull out and turn up field. He hustles around and will get downfield to make blocks. He works to stay with and finish blocks. He displays the ability to be a solid pass blocker that can play with a nose lined up over him. He can quickly get set and displays the ability to mirror rushers. He shows good strength to be able to slow down a bull rush. Displays good awareness to pick up blitzers and stunts. Crowder is a bit on the light side, even for the center position. He will need to add bulk to his frame as he matures to help him in the trenches in college. Crowder is a player with upside and should develop into a solid college player.

Notes: Bristol Herald Courier All Northeast Tennessee, all-conferece OL in 2004 and 2005
